I don’t think anyone could think of a better person to portray Aretha Franklin, than Jennifer Hudson. Both powerful voices, Jennifer has just the chops to bring a younger Aretha to life. Ms. Franklin herself even gave the sign of approval and blessing on casting. The biopic, Amazing Grace, follows Aretha Franklin from childhood into early adulthood. I ends when she records the album “Amazing Grace”, Franklins most successful album and best selling Gospel album. From love to heart break, success and struggle this is a biopic we all want to see.
