Every black women can attest to the horror stories they have getting their kinks and coils styled. For many it meant scalp scabs and bald edges. Whew! Talk about scary moments! Bad Hair premiering on Netflix is horror with a splash of comedy. The story follows a woman whose hair weave literally takes on it’s own life. How terrifying? Kiyah Wright always says “change your hair, change your life” but this takes that phrase to new levels. Laverne Cox stars in this spine chilling horror/comedy as Virgie. Yesterday, she went on a press tour to promote the show and Kiyah gave her a style to bring some fire to the chill of this story’s plot.
